🧿 How to Install the EyeAble® Extension on Safari
Apple Safari users can now enjoy accessible browsing with the EyeAble Accessibility Assistant. Follow these step-by-step instructions to install and activate the extension on your Safari browser.
✅ Step 1: Open Safari
Launch the Safari browser on your Mac.
✅ Step 2: Open the Mac App Store
In the Safari menu bar, click on Safari > Safari Extensions…
This will open the Mac App Store to the Safari Extensions section.
🔗 Or, open the Mac App Store manually and search for “EyeAble” in the search bar.
✅ Step 3: Search for “EyeAble”
In the App Store’s search bar (top-left), type EyeAble and press Return.
✅ Step 4: Download the Extension
Click the Download or Get button next to the EyeAble Accessibility Assistant extension. You may need to enter your Apple ID password or use Touch ID to confirm.
✅ Step 5: Open Safari Preferences
Once downloaded, return to Safari.
From the menu bar, go to Safari > Settings (or Preferences, depending on your macOS version).
✅ Step 6: Enable the Extension

Click the Extensions tab.

Find EyeAble in the list and check the box next to it to enable it.

If prompted, click Turn On to confirm permissions.
✅ Step 7: Pin the Extension (Optional)
To make EyeAble easy to access:

Click View > Customize Toolbar

Drag the EyeAble icon to your Safari toolbar if it’s not already there.
✅ Step 8: Launch and Use EyeAble
Click the EyeAble icon in your Safari toolbar to launch the accessibility menu. You can now adjust settings like font size, color contrast, screen reader, and more.
