WHAT CAN AUSTRALIAN JUSTICES OF THE PEACE DO?

The work which can be carried out by the Australian Justices of the Peace is very much dependent on the State or Territory to which they were sworn.  A list of links to the Australian Justice of the Peace Handbooks or manuals is included below for information.

Please remember that as Justices of the Peace sworn in New Zealand you are only able to deal with documents in New Zealand.  For further information see article 9.6 of the NZ Ministerial Manual which covers Jurisdiction.
