Updating and Upskilling for JPs in 2025
We plan to change the way we offer training to sworn JPs in 2025.
Three different ways of updating and upskilling (including covering the requirement for an hour’s education session for the Accreditation process) will be available to ALL AJPA members in 2025. You can choose to participate in as many of these as you wish.
1. Face to face sessions will be held once each month, February – November. Each will be in a different location, on a different day or evening, to give maximum opportunity for you to find at least one date that suits your needs. As long as you can get there you can attend training in any location that suits you.
2. On-line instructional courses, similar to and including Marriage Dissolution and the Accreditation Study Group.
3. Pre-arranged visits by AJPA trainers to Support Group meetings – we plan to attend at least one meeting with each SG.
Dates, locations, and topics for the first two types of updating will be communicated early in 2025 to help you plan. Topics for SG meetings will be arranged with the trainers involved.
