Thinking of Retiring – be careful of what happens to your Logbooks and Stamps
If you are going to take steps to retire in the near future, give some thought to the logbooks that you may be holding from your JP dealings with clients and to the stamps you have used.
Once you have retired, please contact the AJPA Registrar, who will arrange for a Council Liaison Justice to collect your logbooks and arrange for their secure destruction. Your stamps may be recycled by the removal of the rubber die, or again, these too can be returned by contacting the Registrar, who will arrange for them to be collected, then remove the die so they can be reused.
