Service desks closed until 3 April (and will be reassessed at that time)
March 21, 2020
MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
In light of the announcement this morning 21 March 2020 that Covid-19 has now reached Level 2 in New Zealand together with the advice that all members of the public over the age of 70 years should remain at home, all AJPA service desks must close as of Monday 23 March for the ensuing fortnight and may reopen on Monday 6 April.
This includes those service desks at the four courts. After this period we will reassess and advise accordingly.
Members of the public can access a Justice of the Peace through the website www.jpauckland.org.nz under the tab Find a JP.
The HUB Meeting that was scheduled for 21 March at Friendship House in Manukau has been cancelled and the one scheduled for Saturday 28 March at Ponsonby Primary School is also cancelled. We will reassess whether the 5 April HUB at Red Beach will proceed or not.
It is with reluctance that these decisions have been made but we are very mindful of the health of our members many of whom are over the age of 70 years as well as those of their families.
