OUR HISTORY – PROPHETIC POSTCARDS
An absent-minded individual strolled into a stationer’s shop in a southern suburb, dreamily picked out a selection of postcards and tried to exit the store without paying. Once in court before a Justice of the Peace, the postcards were produced as evidence against him, and one proved to be quite prophetic. It depicted a “gentleman” breaking stones in a prison yard, with the legend,
“I will be here for some time”. Events proved the truth… the absent-minded individual will “be there” for some time.
