Notes from December AJPA Council Meeting

The Council of the Auckland Justices of the Peace Association had their final meeting for 2024 on December 11th.

  • Both our Registrar and President have enjoyed meeting with JPs celebrating the end of the year with various functions across the city. We wish you all a safe and happy Christmas break.

  • The AJPA office will close on December 23rd 2024 and reopen on Monday January 13th 2025

  • 90 JPs are yet to pay their subscriptions for the 2024-2025 year. If this is you please pay your $55 to AJPA bank account 38-9018-0314770-00 and record your name and JP number in the particulars & reference fields

  • November was another busy month on our Service Desks with 51,000 transactions recorded. Thank you to all those who carefully record and submit their statistics which are collated and sent to Wellington each month.

  • Council noted the high demand for JP services at the 2 service desks which operate on Sundays (Takapuna Library and Silverdale Mall) with clients travelling long distances to obtain JP services. We seek to extend hours to include Sundays in Service Desks where JPs are available to meet this need.
