Ministerial Training Updates

  Kiwibuild Statutory Declaration:

We have been made aware of a Kiwibuild Statutory Declaration that does not ask for the Declarant to show their Occupation.   There is a quick solution:

The Justice asks the Declarant to write in the Occupation which is treated as an alteration and is initialed by the Declarant and the Justice.

We have been in touch with the Company and they will update the form but there are lots of forms out there.

See Below:

  • Recent Changes:  Anti Money Laundering Legislation and KiwiBuild Statutory Declaration
  • Hub Education Sessions

Recent Changes:

  •  Anti-Money Laundering Legislation – as well as banks and financial institutions the AML rules now cover lawyers and conveyancers, accountants and providers of accounting services, and real estate agents. In the current HUB training sessions you will learn how to certify identity documents requested by these organisations.
  • KiwiBuild Statutory Declaration. The Ministry of Housing and Urban Development has commented on the high standard of the Statutory Declarations being taken by Justices of the Peace in Auckland. So well done. The Statutory Declaration has been redesigned to make it easier to understand. The changes resulted from comments made by applicants and their advisers. The new version is in the process of being circulated.
