HIGH STANDARDS EXPECTED ON SERVICE DESKS
We recently received a complaint relating to a JP on a Service Desk making an error in ID certification, resulting in a lost financial opportunity for the client. The JP concerned is not a member of AJPA, and is not accredited. Clients are entitled to expect a better standard of care and understanding when we execute documents. The JP is presumably not current or competent in AML requirements. THIS is the reason why JPs on Service Desks need to be members of AJPA, and to be accredited!
