Client Privacy and Logbooks

Justices are required to keep a log book in which the names of each client and a list of all completed transactions are to be recorded.
The Privacy Act (2020) requires that Justices keep only a minimum of information i.e date, name, location and transaction.  It is not necessary to keep any further information.
Please ensure that your logbook is always kept secure. Remember that our clients are entitled to see the information that we hold about them.
