Accreditation

AJPA highly recommend that all Justices are accredited and it is a requirement that all Justices who work on AJPA service desks be accredited. This is to ensure that Justices are up to date and offer a high quality service to our clients. Accreditation has 2 components
  • attending a training session. After you attend a training session (eg a workshop or training at your support group) YOU must record this at justiceofthepeace.org.nz  (your username is surname plus your JP number eg bloggs12345.     If you can’t remember your password click the “forgot your password link and you will be able to reset it)
  • passing the online Accreditation Test – also found at  justiceofthepeace.org.nz You can complete this test in your own home, with your manual open.  When you pass this test that is recorded. If you fail, all that happens is you are told which questions you answered incorrectly and you are invited to try these again. No one else knows how many you got wrong! Please repeat those questions and pass the test.

If you need some help please email sue@jpauckland.org.nz and we will be happy to help.

There is also a way to achieve both the training session and sit the test together – by enrolling in the online accreditation study group (look in jpauckland.org.nz/jpcorner for details of the next course, which you do in your own home)
