2023 ELECTIONS

Under the Electoral Act 1993, a Justice of the Peace may be called upon to act as an independent observer for various stages of the electoral process.  This is a paid activity, and there are a number of different roles which may be undertaken.

As a Justice of the Peace you may be approached by the local electoral office.  You should also be aware that some roles are more time-intensive than others so please ensure your availability before committing to the role.
